The Property Sold Before the IG Caption Was Written
We have a running joke around the office. Every time we start marketing one of our client’s listings, someone inevitably says, "Better hurry... it'll probably sell before we finish the content."
And more often than not, it does. Sometimes we don't even get the Instagram caption written.
Now, before anyone gives our marketing team too much credit, let's be honest. A big reason it sold was her, and that's actually the point.
As an agency, we rarely take on individual real estate agents. Our work is typically focused on large-scale developments, private communities, and destination brands where we're building marketing systems from the ground up.
Individual agents? That's usually not our lane.
But every once in a while, you meet someone who makes you rethink your own rules. She's one of those people. What we've learned over the last several years of working with her is that our role wasn’t to create her brand. She's already done that. Years of showing up, keeping her word, answering the phone, solving problems, and putting people first is what built her brand long before we ever entered the picture.
Our job is simply to tell that story, and honestly, it's one of the easiest jobs we've ever had. Because behind every listing is a relationship. Behind every referral is another relationship. Behind every quick sale is years of trust that most people never see.
Marketing often gets the spotlight because it's visible. The videos, the photography, the social media, and the advertising. Those things absolutely do matter, but relationships are what make marketing work. There’s no amount of beautiful content that can replace genuine trust.
Watching her work has been a great reminder for our own team. The best businesses aren't built by chasing transactions. They're built by earning confidence one conversation, one client, and one relationship at a time. That's true in real estate, it's true in marketing, and it's true in just about every business worth building.
So yes, we'll continue racing to post the next listing before it disappears from the market, but deep down, we know exactly why it keeps happening.
It's not luck. It's years of relationships paying dividends, and that's a story worth telling every single time.
