Farewell Friend
KR Squared wears many hats: strategists, content wranglers, writers, dog-lovers, etcetera. But one of our most cherished roles is that of family. And sometimes, a member of our family takes on a new adventure, leaving a bittersweet ache in her wake.
That's where we find ourselves with Jess. Last week marked her last day with us, as she embarked on a new chapter in Virginia. While we're absolutely thrilled for her next move (seriously, Virginia sounds delightful!), there's no denying the gaping hole she'll leave in our brainstorming sessions, coffee breaks, and legendary Instagram dance challenges.
Jessica brought more than just organizational prowess (although that was pretty darn impressive). She brought warmth, laughter, and an infectious can-do spirit that fueled our creative engine. Whether it was crafting captivating campaigns or keeping us encouraged and inspired, she has time and again been the backbone of our achievements.
Letting go is hard, but we wouldn't trade the memories for anything. From client wins that sparked high-fives to brainstorming sessions that devolved into hilarious tangents, Jess was not only living the KR Squared spirit, she was defining it.
At least we know this isn’t really goodbye; when you’re in our family, you’re in it for the long haul. At this point, we’ve got work family spread out all over the country. We just consider ourselves lucky to have spent some time in Jess’ genius for as long as we did. But, we still hope to be even luckier to find our paths might cross again someday. Until then, Jess, we are always on your team, proudly cheering you on.
